Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Pet Horoscope (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Toastfield ("we," "us," or "our"). Your continued use of the Application constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

Pet Horoscope is a mobile application that provides personalized astrological readings for pets based on their zodiac sign, species, breed, and the current lunar calendar. Features include daily readings, weekly forecasts, a moon calendar, pet compatibility assessments, field notes journaling, care reminders, memorial mode, and shareable content cards.

The Application is currently available on iOS. Pet Horoscope has no account system of its own — it requires you to be signed into iCloud on your device, and uses Apple's CloudKit to store your data in your own private iCloud database.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Application. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Because the Application requires an active iCloud account, you are also subject to Apple's own age requirements for Apple ID and iCloud.

By using the Application, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements described here.

The Application does not have its own sign-up flow, email/password, or account database. Instead, it checks whether iCloud is available on your device and, if so, stores and syncs your pet profiles, notes, and reading history through your own private iCloud database via Apple's CloudKit framework. You are responsible for:

• —Keeping your Apple ID and iCloud account secure — Toastfield has no visibility into or control over your Apple ID
• —Any data you choose to enter into the Application

You may delete all data the Application has stored in your iCloud account at any time from the Profile screen. This does not affect your Apple ID or iCloud account itself — only what this app has stored there.

You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• →Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• →Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Application or its related systems
• →Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Application
• →Use the Application to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content
• →Create multiple accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes
• →Interfere with the proper operation of the Application or its servers

The Application allows you to create content, including Field Notes journal entries. You retain ownership of the content you create. This content is stored in your own private iCloud account, not on any server operated by Toastfield — we do not receive or hold a copy of it. By using this feature, you grant Toastfield a limited, non-exclusive license solely to the extent necessary for the Application to read and display that content back to you within the app.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others. You are solely responsible for the content you create within the Application.

We do not actively monitor user-created content, but we reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

The Application and all content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the horoscope content, design, graphics, code, and trademarks — are owned by Toastfield or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application on your personal devices for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the Application or its content without our prior written consent.

If you opt into notifications, the Application will schedule daily horoscope reading alerts locally on your device using your OS's local notification system — no notification data is sent to our servers. You may turn notifications off at any time in the Profile settings of the Application or in your device's system notification settings. Turning off notifications does not affect your access to any other feature of the Application.

Pet Horoscope is provided for entertainment purposes only. Astrological readings are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, medical diagnosis, or animal behavioral guidance. We make no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any astrological content in the Application.

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TOASTFIELD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Application shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

We may suspend or discontinue the Application, or restrict your access to it, at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may stop using the Application and delete your data at any time from the Profile screen. Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Because your data lives in your own iCloud account, it remains yours to manage even if the Application itself is discontinued.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by sending a notification through the Application. Your continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
