Privacy Policy

Pet Horoscope does not have its own account system, and Toastfield does not operate a server that stores your pet or reading data. Instead, the app uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data through your own private iCloud account, so it's available across your devices. Here is a complete breakdown:

Because this data lives in your own iCloud account rather than on a server we operate, there isn't much for us to "use" — the app reads and writes it on your behalf, on your device, the same way any iCloud-backed app does. Locally and via CloudKit, this data powers:

• →Providing the app: Pet profiles power all personalized features — readings, forecasts, moon calendar, and compatibility — and sync across your devices via your iCloud account.
• →Streak tracking: Reading history is used to track and display your daily streak count.
• →Support: If you contact us by email, we use your email address only to respond to you.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising or behavioral tracking. We do not have a copy of your pet or reading data to use for anything — it stays in your iCloud account.

• —Pet, note, and reading data: Lives in your own iCloud account for as long as you keep it there. Toastfield does not hold a separate copy, so we have no independent retention period — deleting the data in the app (see Section 5) or in your iCloud account removes it.
• —Reminder and notification preferences: Stored locally on your device only. Cleared when you delete the app.

You can delete all of your Pet Horoscope data at any time from the Profile screen, using the "Delete all my data" option. Doing so:

• →Immediately and permanently deletes your pet profiles, field notes, reading history, and owner/compatibility data from your private iCloud database
• →Does not affect your Apple ID or iCloud account itself — only the data this app stored there

Deletion happens right away — there is no waiting period, and once deleted, your data cannot be recovered by us (because we never had a copy) or, generally, by Apple. If you have any issues, contact us at info@toastfield.com.

• —Your data is stored in your private iCloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
• —Access is scoped to your own iCloud account — CloudKit's private database is not shared with other users or with us
• —We never see or store a password — there is no account credential for this app at all
• —Because we don't operate a server holding your data, there is no company-side database for us to breach

While Apple implements robust security measures for iCloud, no system is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of an issue affecting our app's handling of your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Pet Horoscope is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and in practice we do not collect or store any Pet Horoscope data at all — it lives in the user's own iCloud account. Using iCloud requires an Apple ID, which is subject to Apple's own age requirements and Family Sharing / parental controls. Contact us at info@toastfield.com if you have concerns about a child's use of the app.

Because your Pet Horoscope data lives in your own iCloud account rather than on a server we control, most data-subject rights are things you already control directly:

• →Access: View all of your data directly in the app at any time.
• →Correction: Update inaccurate data in the app's Profile and pet settings.
• →Deletion: Delete all your data from the Profile screen (see Section 5), or by emailing us.
• →Opt-out of notifications: Turn off reading reminders at any time in the Profile screen or device settings.
• →Portability: Because your data already lives in your own iCloud account, you effectively hold it already. We don't offer a separate in-app export tool — email us at info@toastfield.com if you need help with anything related to it.

To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at info@toastfield.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Pet Horoscope does not collect or store personal information on any server we operate — your pet and reading data is stored entirely in your own private iCloud account, managed by Apple, and we never receive a copy. We do not sell personal information. Because we do not collect the categories of personal information the CCPA covers, no CCPA obligations are triggered for the app's data. If you have questions or believe this doesn't match your experience of the app, contact us at info@toastfield.com.

Pet Horoscope does not process personal data on any server we operate as defined under the GDPR — your pet and reading data is stored entirely in your own private iCloud account, managed by Apple as your chosen cloud provider, not by Toastfield. Because we do not collect or process this data ourselves, the GDPR's requirements regarding lawful basis, cross-border transfers, and data subject rights are not triggered with respect to it. If you contact us by email, we process your email address and message content based on your consent to communicate with us. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, and to contact us at info@toastfield.com with any questions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by displaying a notice within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
