Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Chartform (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Toastfield ("we," "us," or "our").

Chartform is a data visualization tool that allows you to import CSV and Excel files, create charts, and save visualizations locally on your device. The App processes all data on-device and does not upload any content to Toastfield's servers.

You must be at least 4 years old to use Chartform (the minimum age required by the Apple App Store). If you are under 13, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian. Chartform does not require an account and does not collect personal information from any user.

Toastfield grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on an iOS device you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

• —Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
• —Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• —Sublicense, sell, or transfer the App or your rights to it
• —Remove or alter any proprietary notices or marks in the App

All data you import, enter, or generate within Chartform — including CSV files, Excel files, manually entered datasets, and saved charts — is stored locally on your device. Toastfield does not receive, access, transmit, or retain any of your data.

You are solely responsible for:

• —The accuracy and legality of the data you import into the App
• —Ensuring you have the right to use any data you import
• —Backing up your data, as deleting the App permanently removes all saved charts and datasets

Toastfield is not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or other causes beyond our control.

You agree not to use the App to:

• —Import or process data that contains malicious code or that you do not have the right to use
• —Attempt to circumvent any security feature of the App
• —Violate any applicable law or third-party rights

Toastfield owns all intellectual property rights in and to the App, including its design, code, features, and visual elements. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the App.

The data you import or create belongs to you. Toastfield claims no ownership over datasets, charts, or other content you generate within the App.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TOASTFIELD EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Chart visualizations generated by the App are provided for informational and illustrative purposes only. Toastfield does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any chart or visualization produced by the App. You are responsible for verifying data and visualizations before making any decisions based on them.

We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TOASTFIELD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING DATA LOSS, ERRORS IN CHART OUTPUT, OR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON APP VISUALIZATIONS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (WHICH, AS THE APP IS FREE, SHALL BE ZERO).

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate them at any time by deleting the App from your device. Toastfield may suspend or discontinue the App at any time without notice. Sections 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 survive any termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
